Did the Democrats do the right thing by not holding up the vote for the sake of border security?
Securing our nations borders has been a hot topic for a few years now. How serious is border security you may ask? Consider the following scenario. You're a homeowner. You have a nice piece of property and you live in a beautiful neighbourhood where everyone has a nice piece of property. Your neighbour is currently experiencing a few economic challenges so he along with his family can legally come over at anytime and get what they need from financial donations, too food, supplies anything because the last thing you want to see is the economic downfall of your neighbour.
Why is this important to you? lets say you want to protect the financial integrity of the housing market, particularly in your neighbourhood. All of a sudden you have strangers directly related to your neighbour coming over uninvited, unannounced and using your household resources indiscriminately. You spoke to your neighbour about the situation which resulted in inaction.
The average American, at this point, would consider putting up a wall or fencing, or some type of physical protective barrier. Especially if they decided to set up a homeless encampment right outside the border of your home.
Most Americans on average, would not consider, lets say reducing their standard of living to ensure that the homeless encampment outside the border of their home is sustainable or cutting programs essential to their standard of living. For example no more eat out Fridays, another fine example would be cutting household after school piano lessens for little johnny.
With that being said i would like to invite the general public to take a poll. Your opinion is very important to us. Subscribe to our production magazine.
