Donald McKinley Glover Jr. is an American actor, comedian, writer, director, record producer, singer, songwriter, rapper and DJ. He performs music under the stage name Childish Gambino. He was conceived on September 25th 1983 and can be considered to be a sucessful role model due his variety of talents. His parents are Beverly Glover  and Donald Glover, Sr. He was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (2017).

He recently released in my opinion a well directed and produced video which as of to date raked in over three hundred million views. We would like our verified Subscribers to participate in a writing exercise meant to develop your media interpretation skills as well as your thesis statement development. Use the following observations to assist in the development of your essay.

Notice at the very beginning of the video the music. It's reminds very cultural in an African American sense. The main character is very feminine yet conservative in his dress style. Not the average dress style for a common criminal. His target is executed with style and he smiles at the camera as if it was done for show or to send a message. He definitely has support as you notice his clean up crew removes the evidence. and he carries withhis everyday life.

What does the assasination of his target represent.

Notice the school children dancing in uniform as chaos slowly unfolds in the background. What dooes the school children represent.

Take note the main character as his outward appearnce seems slightly disorientated almost to a level of questionably insanity but he uses the music to assist him in the carrying out of his duties. The choir hums black man get your money he enters the room as if he is with them singing along. He then unexpectedly opens fire with an automatic rifle and creats a mess, while is clean up crew removes the evidence, creating a riot as he slips pass law enforcement.

How would you interpret his mass murder of a church choir that cheering him on to do what would seem like better. "Black man get your money".

Notice the white horse with the hooded robe riding around, while the riot escalates. What does he represent.

Notice how the children dance around him in circles as he stands proud. What cultural are are they actually doing and what was it's purpose.

Notice how he mumbles his rap to a point here it can bearly be understood but if you look at his body language and key in a few words, you can easily inteperet not what he said but what he means. How can this particular scene be compared to hip hop today.

At the very end of the vidoe the hooded victim reappears with the hood on, as the main charater dances on top of old school luxury cars. He also runs away form a mob at the end of the scene terrified.

Who is he running from and why. Are they actually vchasisng him or is everyone running towards a specific destination.
