An Individual I Hold With High Regard.

Nick Cannon is someone I hold with high regard. Even though I don’t know him personally, based on his media personality, I think he is a great guy. I admire his success and consider him to be one of the best role models for black men in today’s modern society. He is an American television host, actor, rapper, and comedian. Some of his most successful works include “All That” The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. He also acted in the films Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce. As a rapper he released his debut self-titled album in 2003 with the single "Gigolo", collaboration with singer R. Kelly. In 2007 he played the role of the fictional footballer TJ Harper in the film Goal II Living the Dream. In 2006, Cannon recorded the singles "Dime Piece" and "My Wife" for the planned album Stages, which was never released. It is rumored that currently he has a net worth of twenty million dollars.

Now FOX SOUL is an independent new live and interactive streaming network dedicated to African American viewers. Their regular scheduled programming aim to celebrate Black culture and deal with real topics that impact the everyday lives of the Black community through frank and insightful dialogue with local and national influencers. On August twenty ninth Fox soul announced that celebrity Nick Cannon will be having his tenth baby amongst five other different women. The guest on the show included Claudia Jordan, Vivica A Fox, Lisa Raye and Syleena Johnson. The majority of the guest on the panel spoke positively regarding Mr Canon’s lifestyle but I couldn’t help but notice quite a bit of discomfort when they spoke. It seem a if they weren’t expressing their true feelings and made every attempt to not criticize Mr Canon’ life style too much but not Vivia Fox. Vivica Fox is no stranger to the entertainment industry.

Why We Should Be Concerned

Vivica  Fox  is an American actress, producer, and television host. Fox starred in films like Booty Call, Soul Food, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Kingdom Come, Two Can Play That Game, and Boat Trip. She played Vernita Green in Kill Bill and landed supporting roles in films like Ella Enchanted. She scored leading roles in the short-lived Fox sitcom Getting Personal and the CBS medical drama City of Angels. From 2003 to 2006, she co-starred in and produced the Lifetime crime drama series, Missing, for which she received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. Fox has also produced a number of straight-to-video films.

With all due respect to all of Nick Canon’s achievements, his financial success and great Head of house management style and skill, I would have to agree with Vivica Fox on this one as a black man, father of two for the past nineteen years, lover for twenty three and husband of nine.  I see a lot of major red flags being centrally targeted specifically to the black community. All of his significant others are black so in my eyes it sends a very strong message, that clearly states his target market and preference in women. He has great taste in women, which raises another red flag. Are they allowed to see other men and/or get into a committed relationship with another man or other men, without any financial and/or emotional repercussions?  I am a firm disbeliever in taking care of another man’s woman and/or child so in the event that they, meaning his string of significant others decided to move on with their life with another man, in my eyes it would not be fair to both parent and child to have another individual dictate or influence their lifestyle on Mr Cannon’s check. I am a firm believer in two things. That would be commitment and loyalty.  I don’t see any of that being to these women.

They may never get the opportunity to upgrade to from baby mama to wife status without some type of cost of living adjustment and that to me is a toxic family model to present and promote to the African American Community. Women need to be honored through marriage and not just payed for, including children. From my nineteen years of experiences, being a successful parent required your presence twenty four seven. As a dad it is very important to influence your child as much as possible. You have to out influence the education system, various media devices on top of your local community. Unfortunately for Nick, his lack of a physical presence will not have the most positive impact on that child’s sense of well being. My children look forward to me coming home every day, every hour, every minute. Now from a child’s prospective I grew up with three step siblings and it’ not fun. We would always fight amongst each other and when reprimanded, accuse our parents of showing favoritism a rebuttal from punishment or to get our step parent to fight amongst each other until such time we get our way then taunt each other. I would like to see Nick Cannon a married man to at least one of these women if not all four but our legal system doesn’t allow that type of lifestyle at the present time.

The Queens are talking about Nick Cannon having a 10th baby and whether or not he has good relationships with all his baby mama's.
