The blues originated amongst African Americans in the south around the nineteen sixties. it comprises of a variety of spirituals, chants, shouts and rhymed ballards with a consistency of narratives. Early trsaditional verses was as simple as a single line repeated four times. As time progressed as with modern day blues, consumers of this genre would notice its transformation on or around the twentieth century to mimic a line sung over the first four bars. The loose narative closely associated with the blues is the racial discrimination, challeneges and struggles of the African American people.
