In Your Opening

The Proposal For A Business Plan

Most prospective Employers will take the time to view a resume with a cover letter before they they took a look at a resume without one. For my business savvy Entrepreneurs, its like the proposal for the business plan with the resume being the business plan. For my regular audience it's a brief explanation of your resume and work history written in such a way that it is geared towards giving a brief summary as to what is in and why they should read your resume over the others. So to start off with your cover letter, in the top right hand corner we begin with your name, then address each on a separate line with your phone number and email address on very next same line. On the left hand corner of your word document you want to start off with the date, skipping two lines, the recipient name and address each on a separate line and begin your cover letter addressing the receiver by surname.
