White House Correspondence Dinner Comedy

The White House Correspondence Association is an organization of Journalist whom cover mainly the White House and the President. It was founded in nineteen fourteen and hugely inspired by unfounded rumors that the congressional commitee would decide which Journalist could attend presidential conferences and meetings. Eventhough they work indepedently of the White House, they are heavily involved in the credentialing process which grants access to the President, the physical conditions of the White House and press briefing rooms.

The annuall dinner is considered to be pure tradition and in it's form of origin, only men could attend. In attendance would be The President & Vice President until nineteent sixty two, John F Kennedy at the urge of Helen Thomas refused to attend until such time the rules changed, allowing the audeince of both genders.
